The WindEn windmills are designed to run with minimum maintenance requirements. The scheduled maintenance is for a change of oil in the gearbox every five years and at the same time the two main bearings will be greased. Apart from that, a quick look and listen to the windmill on site should be done to assure that everything is in order.

The towers are equipped with a fall protection device and a work platform with railings. The turbine's cover is easily opened to make maintenance easy.

The WindEn windmills are well documented and built from components from renowned Western European suppliers. This means that needed spare parts can be delivered at a short notice, for a long time to come.
